Check out the IPMS site. You can send some of your extra stuff to the Baghdad Hobby Club - Active Military.Soldiers will appreciate your donations. Check out IPMS - it will tell you better about it than I can.I mailed out a flat rate priority box to the APO address listed this morning. I took the longer flater Priority box and after taking the model out of the kit boxes and putting them in giant zip locks I was able to get three Nascar kits in the box, two 1/72nd plane kits, some sanding boards, decal sheets, and finished up filling out the small space left over with a Hot Rod magazine and a couple comics all in that one box. Postage was $8.95My challenge to other BMC'rs is to do the same, take some extra kits out of your stash, repack them well and get as many as you can in a box. Go to the post office and send them on to Iraq. There are some soldiers there who will appreciate it. You don't need to be a member of International Plastic Model Society to donate - you can do this as an individual as I did. Check it out and please consider sending the soldiers some items.GARY - maybe you would consider making this a sticky thread - I think BMC'rs would be happy to do this.

If I knew what I was doing then it would not be any fun now would it?

I agree Hemi. I think I need to do my part for the country, and bring a bit of releif to our hard working soldiers. That is an awesome gesture, and would make a guy feel good.

Baghdad Hobby Club c/o LTC George SalernoBaghdad Hobby ClubHQ, MNC-I (IG)APO, AE 09342Above is the address to make this easier for you. You will also need to fill out a short customs form at the post office - only takes a couple extra minutes. Be sure to check the box - GIFT on the customs form and declare a low value for contents and postage is all you will have to pay. Stick with the flat rate boxes and there will be no surprises when you pay the postage - This will be the best $8.95 you spend this year...Hemi and chvynutmontana - Thank you, thanks to all BMC members who do this. I thought this was a great thing to do.
