Sorry about the poor posting folks. I started out to build this as an old school rod. '32 rails were comon in the 50s. After being boxed, they were much stronger. The only thing from the box in this build is the body and interior. Most else is from Revell's '32 roadster, much modified. All the stuff I did is in my WIP. Paint is Krylon, banner red on the body, duplicolor cherry red and clear on the frame. The door handles work. I have to thank Joe,(Clutch) for encouraging me to do this WIP. Many thanks too,to all of y'all for your encouragement and support throughout the build. It's been fun. Hope you enjoy it. Bill

It's a beauty but I would like to see the Ford logo on the tailgate BMF'd or something to make it stand out, RR

It was foiled Rick, but when I cleared it,it crazed the paint and the gate plastic as well. Really rotted my sox too. I cleaned it up as good as I could and left it bare. Sorry. I would have liked it too.

Hey,
It turned out great.
Love the theme, colors, work and especially the running boards and door catch idea.
What's next?
Later,

Thanks a lot Dave. Glad you liked it. I have no idea what's next. Maybe I'll somehow resurrect the '32 highboy roadster that I cannibalized to build the '29. I'll be thinking on it.Mebbe channel the "B" body over "A" rails?I do have the "A" bone suspension and a couple of 440's. Maybe wide white big and littles on Cragars? Hmmmmmm! title=.We'll see what we see Bud. Thanks again for the moral(Immoral?) title=,support throughout. You got any cycle fenders? How 'bout a fox tail or two? Maybe an Auburn windshield too. You got me thinking. Later

Hey Bill...great looking street rod, no need to ap title=ogize for this one! Great job blending the 2 kits, the Revell 32 Ford kits have one of the nicest street rod chassis' available in a kit and you put it to good use. Where did the scoop come from? ...I really like it and would like to get a couple. Looking forward to watching your next build.

Aloha...Pete title=

Thanks 57150. I'm pleased with it. That's the furthest I've pushed the mods in a long time. Flatout,I have to agree, thar chassis is among the best I've seen. Adapts well to darn near any situation. I was even able to cut the chrome nearly damage free. BMF covered all. I have no idea where the snorkel came from, or off of, title=. It was languishing in a parts box. I figgered if I could BMF it to look good again,I'd use it. PLUS,it fits under the hood when I use it. Thanks to you both for traveling along with me. I enjoyed it. Later,Bill

Congratulations Bill on the completion of your first WIP! Turned out real nice, I like the stance, the big Hemi and the red on red colour combo suits the build well. The chassis looks great too. Nice one mate!
Thanks for the mention Bill, I knew you had a decent build in you and you just needed some encouragement to get it up and running. Well done.
