Most of us know Joe by the screen name clutch. He lives with his wife and three kids in Bargara, Queensland, on the east coast of Australia. Teaching my kids how to surf is also a lot of fun and I enjoy gardening when I get the chance.

Best in Show - Off Road

model: S10 Off Road Racer

builder: Kevin Sassman, screen name, IAracefan

WIP

The Best in Show winner of the Off Road project is Kevin Sassman's S10 Off Road Racer. Kevin's screen name IArarefan says it all. With four older brothers, he's not sure if he started going to the races or building models first. We're glad he still does both.

Kevin hails from Windsor Heights, IA, a western suburb of Des Moines. In Kevin's free time he works with Border Collie and Italian Greyhound rescue groups, providing a foster home and helping train the dogs so they can be adopted by new families. Kevin has also been participating in AKC Agility competitions since 2001, with his own two dogs.

I was a professional Motorcycle racer for close to ten years (still ride every day rain or shine) and am now a chief engineer and run a high rise building in San Francisco. In my off hours I build models, take 4X4 trips to the high country. Did a little hunting, fishing and do some shooting. Have some large scale R/C stuff. Boats, planes, cars and motorcycles and play a little guitar."

BestIn Show - Jurassic Park

Model: '71 Hemi Cuda

Builder: Jeff Moore, screen name, Superfly

WIP

Best in Show for the Jurassic Park forum project is Jeff Moore's '71 Hemi Cuda. Known as 'Superfly' around BMC I'm known to everyone else as Jeff. I live with my wife, a tremendous supporter of my compulsive modeling habits, in Grand Junction, Colorado which is perfect for my second favorite hobby: being outdoors. I love camping, mountain biking, hiking, or even just kicking back on the porch and grilling some brauts. In May of 2011 I graduated from college with a degree in Fine Arts Education and currently when I'm not outside on my bike or inside with my cars, I teach art at Palisade High School.
