Thanks guys. Red_green, good luck with the build! Some real-life pics of your brother's Mustang would be cool. Interior is finished. I flocked it and then added everything; seats, dash, console. Be careful to first attach the door panels, and glue the rear seats after that. The door panels attach neatly to the floor, nothing looked warped or so. Unlike some other builds I did. I also added seatbelts. Chica (the dog) approves.

Engine work: I cut the pulleys from the kit's engine and placed them according to reference pictures. The belt is a strip of 1 mm masking tape that I will paint flat black.

Don't let the Chica use the interior tubs for chew toys!!! Great work as usual Tim... The interiors really turned out nice!
Thanks

Both interiors look fantastic Tim, well done! I like the idea of masking tape for the belts, it looks so much better than the thick plastic fan belts.

The interiors look great, subtle differences but stylish in their own way. Will you be doing an further work on the bodies (i.e. sanding, polishing, etc)? They look a little rough around the edges right now, but with some elbow grease, they be be fantastic!

Due to some personal issues I haven’t been able to do a lot of modelbuilding the last few months. I’m slowly getting back to set up everything and have some progress.
Front bumper and lights are installed on both cars. The extra fog lights for the black car are from the parts box. The rear bumper is on the black car; but there is a serious gap between the body and bumper. I intend to glue a (black) piece of plastic on the inside to have that fixed.
Tim.

Engine work: I scratchbuilt the intake cover. Next step is painting it black and detailing. With the valve covers on it starts to look like a real engine now. I also installed the rear view mirror in the housing.

Excellent update Tim... Was worried you fell off the face of the earth or something... The fog lights look good and sorry to see that gap.... These are really coming along though....nicely.
Thanks

Thanks Chuck
Engines are finished, and the first one is installed in the black Mustang. I’ll check for fitment issues and then install the blue Mustang’s engine. Hoses etc. will be added soon.
Tim.

That intake cover look's great Tim. It;s great to see you back at working on these car's. I am surprised at the gap between the back bumper and the body.
