This is my entry for the Jurassic Park forum project. I have re-submitted the gallery with better pics. I really like this car and I’m obsessed over accurately replicating it. It all started when I got the first kit as a birthday present from my dad. As I gathered reference material I learned some information about the car. With only a small undersized hemi emblem it makes a good sleeper. My uncle used to own a 4-door belvedere, it may not have been a gtx but it was still cool. If only I could have lived in that time period and had one...
This is my third GTX kit The First one was destroyed a while back; I built the second kit to best the first. Now I will try one more time to replicate this awesome car.

Paint is Tamiya yellow; this was my first time using BMF. The vinyl top was done using the model car garage, the engine was wired and an antenna was added.

Nice top and engine. BMF turned out good too.

I'm not just trying to start trouble...

The vinyl top and bmf really make this GTX stand out. Looks perfect!
As does the engine detail and black panel line wash. You've done an outstanding job!

Like the others have said, you did a great job on the vinyl roof and BMF. title= Some more detailing, like painting the firewall detail, would have pushed it to another level.
