For My Sectioning build I wanted to do something a bit different. I have been looking around and remembered an old hotwheel. Its called "Way 2 Fast". Its basically a 32 ford twin-engine sedan. I Decided having a similar build in 1/24 scale would be a neat piece. Here is a Picture of a similar Car. I also will have to scratch build the entire frame. I plan to solder Brass together for the frame. Before this project I practiced by making a Engine hoist from brass. I will use the engines out of a kit I bought for this occasion, the Raiders coach. I also have plans for the coach part in a build to come. Definaltey going to be a challenge, but a fun one.

Thanks Shawn Good to see you again! I have kinda taken off on this project and really am getting into it. The Frame took about 4 or 5 hours all together to solder, grind, fix, measure, clean, fix, redo, fix.... you get the idea. After Mutiple Fitting, adjustements, burns on my fingers, etc I began to get the hang of it. Basically its mini-welding. The steps are like the brass engine hoist I made. Start by cutting the main structure parts to length and at the correct angles. I used a nice little saw shown in the picture. I found it at harbor Frieght for about $20. It takes about 2 seconds to make a cut, versus about 30 with the little gringing wheel on my dremel. I then Clean the ends that are to be soldered. I used Liquid flux (The only way it will bond) and weld the ends together. Its nice because if the angle is wrong just heat it up and restart. I then welded the supports. I grinded and cleaned up the globs and here it is. It is also acceptionally strong. I think it would bend before the welds break. I am just starting to section and chop the top on the '32 Ford body. More updates soon! Thanks for looking!

Thanks

Thanks Guys Here is the body. Was 1 piece. Ended up in 10 parts if you can believe that! I bonded it all back together except the lower pieces near the rear fender. I chopped and sloped the top down a bit to give it a mean look. Also took a decent section out on the sides but I like the way it sits now! Of course there will be a lot of priming and sanding ahead...

Wow Cody! That is sweet. title= You're really raising the bar. Now what's the scoop on that machine? Did you use it to cut the body also?
