It's time to selected the next Member's Forum Project. So without further delay, let the silly season begin. This build will start on May 1st 2012.

Please make only one suggestion per reply. Only the first suggestion in each reply will be considered.

There will not be any repeats of build themes from the last two years, so you might want to check the Projects list to see if your idea has already been done recently.

The intention of these projects is to get us to try a different style or process than you would normally build.

Please give some thought to your theme before posting your suggestion and tell us why it would be a good project.

Let us know if you endorse another member's previous suggestion. This is important.

Suggestions will end Sunday evening, Jan. 15th, 2012.

I can't believe it's been almost 48 hours without any suggestions submitted. title= This has never happened before. This must mean that:

a) nobody cares about member forum projects,
b) nobody has any suggestions, or
c) you would rather I choose the theme.

So I guess I'll start off. I suggest Porsches. The number of street and racing Porsche body styles is astounding. Their livery ranges from plain silver to unbelievably complicated, and every color of the rainbow.

If there are no other suggestions by Sunday, you can probably guess what the next theme will be.

Just found this thread.
My suggestion is "Death Race". Build any car or truck and fill it full of as much armor and weapons as you can. A combination of speed and weapons.

It could be that you forgot to make the thread sticky; which I just did for you. title= title=

I like all the suggestions so far. After looking through the forums and gallery my suggestions is "Wild Customs".
The model can be an out of the box build such as a Tom Daniels, Lil' Mixer or a Barris replica etc or you can design and build your own. There have been some recent re-releases of this genre that would makefinding a kit fairly easy. Additionally alot of these types of kits are short on detail so it leaves a lot of scope for people to customise.

Cheers

I would like to suggest Modern Gasser's/Altered Wheelbase.Build any car/truck/SUV made between 1975 to present, and build it up like a 60's style gasser.

I like the 60's gasser idea.
My suggestion would be "Work Force". This would be to build any hard working truck/van from any country. Something like a delivery van or a say maybe a contractor truck complete with the ladder racks and tools? this could also include wreckers and rolbacks. It would push to try some scratch building.

If life is like a bowl of cherries, why do I always get the pits?

I like porsches and will suggest Long roofs, wagons/vans. I don't think they have been done lately and some cool rides can be made out of wagons. Before the mini van almost every family had a wagon at one time or another.

Salt flats racer. These just look really cool and there are so many classes that virtually any vehicle can be made into one.
