It's time to select a theme the next Member's Forum Project. This project will start on May 1st 2012.

The intention of these projects is to get us to try a different style or process than you would normally build.

Please give some thought to the themes before voting. Remember to think outside the box. For example, if you want to do a custom, a wild paint job, or a salt flat racer you can build it in a different theme, such as Porsche, Gasser, or Motorcycle.

Voting will end Sunday evening, Jan. 22th, 2012.

The following are the choices:

1. Build any street, custom, or race Porsche.

2. Build any Trans Am racer, British BTCC, German DTM, or Australian V8 Supercar.

3. Build any 1975 or newer land vehicle as a '60s Gasser or Altered Wheel Base racer.

4. "Bit of Brit". Build any British car or motorcycle.

5. Build any 2-wheeled land vehicle.

6. Build a land vehicle based diorama.

Are there enough brit kits to make this interesting, I don't see a lot. Could someone list some kits that would qualify so a more informed vote can be made. Most of the catagories are easy but the brit one seems limited so I need some help.

This is good point and I took a look out at Model Express and beside the obvious Jaguars, Loti, TR-3s, TR-6, Austin Healeys, old Minis and Rolls Royce, I had a question about the following cars being suitable for the Bit O Brit build (should it be elected).

* Lotus F1?
* McLaren F1?
* Williams F1?
* Tyrell F1?
* How about the Ford Escort and Focus Rally cars?
* McLaren Can Am (M8B)?

There also might be a couple of Opel Astra touring cars that might qualify as well.

Pretty limidted selection, we just had an Indy car, do we want to follow that with a mainly F1 contest.
