2whl's suggested "Bit of Brit" is the next forum member's project. This project will start on May 1st, 2012.

Since voting for a theme committed you to build in that project, wink wink, this project will have great participation.

We know who voted and what you voted for, wink wink, so we will expect to see:

a. 5 March Porsche Indy racers, Elva Porsche sports racers, or other appropriate vehicle.

b. 6 British Touring Car Championship builds.

c. 7 British cars built as gassers or altered wheel base drag cars.

d. 2 motorcycles. You two can decide between BSA, Triumph, Vincent, or other appropriate vehicle.

e. 4 dioramas featuring British vehicles.

f. And at least 11 other British vehicles. title=

This project is open to all BMC members. You didn't have to had voted to participate in this project.
So get out your thinking hats and decide which British vehicle you want to build. See you all in May.

Model on. title=

Is an Alpine a Brit car? How about BMW? I can't remember if it stands for British Motor Works or Bavarian Motor Works. title=

Thanks for help.

Has the word "disappear" gone missing from the English language?

Bavarian Motor Works. The Three big names in Germany are BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz. I belive Alpine is French.

The Biggies from Britian are Jaguar, Astom Martin, Lotus, The Morris Mini, Austin Healey, Jesen Healey, Land Rover, MG, Bentley, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, And Caterham. Just to name a few.

Thanks all. The model I was looking at is an Alpine A110 1600SC . The description doesn't say if it's Sunbeam or Renault.

Still befuddled. title=

Mr. Bill, the Alpine A110 is a Renault, which is French.

And Don, I can't remember title= if I voted for a motorcycle or for 'Bit of the Brit'. So I guess I'll have to do a British motorcycle. title=

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
