Very nice indeed. How did you do the black details on the dash? Very fine black pen?

Tim.

I used a rapidograph pen. It's basically a fountain pen with a straight tip. Definitely makes doing the details way easier. title=

The paint on this is amazing and the dash detail is out of this world! Great job. Only thing I see, is the line showing where you joined the seat halves together. A little time spent cleaning up those joints would really take this build over the top.
I built one of these many, many years ago and really like this kit. For its time it was actually a pretty good kit that built well.

Thanks bowtie. I did clean the lines up and painted the seats first but took them apart again to get the little chevy emblem in the head rest. I just decided to put them back without resanding and painting again. Definitely is a great kit. Nice and simple. Thanks again title=

I like what you have done with this build, your paint job looks way better than the one on my chevy. I like the technique you used on your interior, I may try something similar on mine.

Thanks Charles! Hey does anyone know why there's no distributor in this kit? I was planning on wiring this build but didn't see one there's only an ignition coil

I dont know why they didnt include one in the kit, if you want a wired one you can either buy a prewired one or make your own.

I'll probably try and make one myself. I know I have a few spare distributors laying around. Just waiting on some fittings to come in the mail and then I'll get started on doing the engine and posting some more pics.

What size Rapidograph pen did you use? Did you use ink or a paint wash in it?
