I am wondering if anyone has heard about this new contest.I had not heard anything until I noticed post from Stacey David's Facebook page on my facebook wall which said

"The @RevellUSA/@staceydavid Global Model Car Championships open tomorrow. Look for links with rules, eligible kits & submit forms!"

This is a copy from my page.I look on Revell's website,and found it was a little hard to find until I searched for Global Model Contest.Some info I found are. The Contest starts Feb 1 to May 15th. And the subject mater is Muscle Cars. It is open to US and Canada.The eligible cars are

totally agree... not sure what the criteria was, but some of the winners were rather bland...

they mentioned this over the weekend during a gearz episode...

thanks for sharing the info... would love to see one of us win a prize...

I agree some were not that exciting.It would be cool to see one of us to win a prize or even a honorable mention.Another good thing is that Canadians can enter.

That was the first thing that I noticed! I also agree that the winners from last year's contest were quite pedestrian. I just read through the rules, it says that the kit used must be purchased between the start and end date of the contest. Not sure if you have to prove the date of purchase though.

Saw this on my FB page.. how does this work? You build it and pack it all nice and mail it to them? Or just send some pics? I built the Firebird 400 a couple years ago. Nice kit. I am sure I could improve on it.
