Pros

A very clean mold with almost no flash. The engine has good detail such as the corrrect 300HP markings on the heads and a fan clutch which locates through the fan to the water pump. The interior features seperate door panels, floor, and firewall. Many details such as master cylinder and booster, seperate door handles, windshield wipers, correct hood hinges, and decals for gauges, door locks, scripts, and side marker lights. There are some race goodies such as roll bar, slicks, traction bars, and optional wheels and hood. The interior features detailed sheetmetal behind the rear seat so that if you omit the seat for racing, it is a correct representation.

Cons

This very little that was disappointing with this kit. The decals could have adhered a little better. Be aware that the tires are on a tree so must be cut loose. I don't like that but it's more of a preference issue than a con.

Comments

This is a great release from Revell in my opinion. It is one of the best skill level 2 kits I've done and the 350 is by far the most correct looking Chevy small block I've seen. A highly recommended kit.

Pros

-New tool=sharp, crisp parts, no flash at all
-Excellent decal sheet-everything is included, marker lights, emblems,guages....
-All parts fit together like a glove
-Very good instructions
-Great chrome
-Interior has great detail and it includes most of the engine bay for better detailing

Cons

-Only one....the stripe decals for the hood/trunk of the drag version are a little thick and don't set right without wrinkling because of the hood/trunk centerline contour, so I recommend removing/shaving the contour if you are building the drag version.

Comments

Revell is getting it right. This kit, combined with the 2007 releases of the '49 Merc and '32 Ford proves American model manufactorers can do it. Too bad it is made in China. A great kit, I recommend it to all skill level modellers !

Pros

Lots of options, great detail. I liked the decals for the interoir gages. Decals are great. YOu can pick and choose which you want to apply to truelly customize the model.

Cons

For me the drag wheels did not fit tight inside of the tires. Metal axal pins are kind of hard to deal with.

Comments

Overall this was a great kit. I had a little trouble getting the chassis to fit just right. It was probably more of a user error than the kit.
