Pros

This is a 3 'n 1 kit which can be built in either Stock, Custom/Street, or Drag versions. Engine mods for the street/drag versions includes a Blower and Supercharger setup with a separate set of belts.
Also, a different hood with hole precut is included.
Rollbar and fire extinguisher also optional parts for the interior.
5 spoke mags x4, wire wheels x4, and drag click wheels x2 along with 4 normal sized tires and a set of slicks.
Few fit problems.
Decals for all three versions including two different colors of trim for the stock version.

Cons

Slight mold lines on body, nothing bad though.

Comments

Kit goes together well. Very few fit problems if any.
Although the instruction say to instal the front and rear body panels after adding the chassis, you can glue them on the body first and have no fit problems with the chassis later. Paint everything at the same time that way, or make it custom and fill the panel lines on those parts.
Option part for interior is a radar detector...gotta watch out for cops when you're street racing!

Nice kit, normal amount of mold lines.

Pros

The interior and especially the dashboard have excellent detail. Other than that no additional comments to add to the above review.

Cons

The engine compartment and firewall seem quite bare. The master cylinder is molded to the firewall when it easily could have been a separate more accurate part(s). Some heater hoses, horn and a battery would have been welcome additions. The kit comes as a T-top model and there are no parts to convert it to a regular roof. The clear T-top parts fit poorly so if you want to convert to a regular roof you will have some work ahead of you.

Comments

All in all this is a good kit that captures the lines of this important addition to American muscle. With a little work it can be converted to different models and even model years.

Pros

Very little fitment issues
No Flash
Comes out looking outstanding
Good overall model

Cons

I don't like how the front and rear bumpers were not a part of the body.

Comments

Good kit ! Very easy to build. I did the drag version and it came out looking good ! Check my Gallery.

This kit is also neat because it comes with a Roll Bar, Fire Extinguisher, & Radar detector for the car. Gotta love 3 n 1's !

Pros

Only 79 out there!
the dash is right on the money.
The stock mags can be paited to look very much like the real thing.

Cons

The exhaust/rear axle/drive shaft are all one part. Engine is not very detailed, but to be excepted from a older kit.
The center grill need to be striped and re painted in flat back. The small center lights are not cler part like on the real cars.
Under hood detail can use work, some stuff in the wrong places.
Could use a better choice of decal colors. it really limts what you can paint the car.
Missing some key decals to finish the kit proper

Comments

Ont think Revell messed up in the interior tub. for all nit picker out there (like myself) you will find that the door panels are stock ones, while the seats are the dulex seats. so you have to either re work the inside door panel or change the seats.

I would rather have seen more stock stripes colors then all the other made up stuff on the decal sheet. at least you can buy after market decals for this car.

Pros

Not many pros, aside from simplicity of the construction and presence of the engine, even though detail of the engine is marginal at best. Nicely detailed wheels. Relatively good parts fit. Parts for street-racing version provided in the kit.

Cons

The kit is severely under detailed - low parts count and very average detail on all parts. Some cleanup required, and instructions are not clear. Wrong painting directions for some parts. Awful (pretty much useless) decals, hard vinyl tires, very simple interior "tub" with minimal detailing. Chrome plating is quite bad and thick, most glass pieces are thick and distorted.

Comments

Kit is very simple and parts fit is decent so it would make a good kit for a beginner. But if you want an accurate replica - it will require lots of patience and additional detailing to look correct.

Pros

The body, and interior are fairly well detailed despite the interior being a tub.

Most everything fits together with no to very little modification.

This kit offers the oppurtunity to build either stock , strip, or custom.

The 3 'n' 1 kits offer a chance to add extra parts to the parts bin.

Cons

The 3 piece body.

The exhaust and rear end are all one piece.

No option of headers. Exhaust manifods for all 3 versions.

Comments

I chose this kit simply beacause it was a re-issue of a kit I built as a child. Why they chose to not mold the body in at most 2 pieces is beyond me. I had the hardest time getting the rear bumper to stay on. But the biggest thing that bothered me is only having exhaust manifolds for all 3 versions.

All that being said this is a relatively simple kit to build and customize. Also being able to add spare parts to my parts bin is always a plus with me. All in all I would say this a good kit to build even for a beginner.

Pros

Nice detail. It has a little radar detecter, very cool idea. went together very well. Decals were very nice, Z28 decals for 2 differant paint colors, incase you want to re-paint it later.

Cons

Some flash issues, nothing too bad. Tires were on a tree. Only came with two custom rims, I prefer 4.T-tops could`ve been designed a little better. There was no battery in the engine compartment and little detail in that area

Comments

I liked this kit. It had no battery, so if you want one your going to have to add it yourself. All in all it was a fun build and good for younger builders. I would recommend this kit to others
